This is extremely hard when you have 8 great lenses. In the past i would have said 70-200 but that is to limiting. I could say the 14-24 but again that is limiting as well. I love my 1.4's but i would now have to say my fav lens is the 24-70 2.8 nikon. This is a lens that you can use to capture anything, it is as sharp and colorful as my 50 1.4. If i had to shoot with one lens that would be it. JP

I'd too would normally say the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, but it seems to me that using it almost feels like cheating, so, I am going to say the Tamron 28-75 2.8 XR Di - I like the range, I love the quality, if it only had full-time manual focus override it would be perfect. Oh, and the price, compared to the Canon 24-70 2.8 is almost 1/3 less...done deal!

Nikkor 80-200 2.8 AF-D - oldie push-pull version or equally favorited by me is Sigma 10-20 4.5-5.6 - I do love the quality and portraits from the telephoto lens but I love the wide angle fun of the ultrawide too :)

Well I've only got one lens - Nikkor 18-200mm VR - so I'l have to say that one! I really have no experience with other lens' although I'd be interested in trying out a macro of some sort in the near future.
